cademy Award winning director Steven Spielberg helms a powerhouse cast including Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks in THE POST, inspired by true events.

Steven Spielberg directs Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks in The Post, a thrilling drama about the unlikely partnership between The Washington Post‘s Katharine Graham (Streep), the first female publisher of a major American newspaper, and editor Ben Bradlee (Hanks), as they race against time to expose a massive cover-up of government secrets that spanned three decades and four U.S. Presidents. The two must overcome their differences as they risk their careers – and their very freedom – to help bring long-buried truths to light.

  1. I’ve had to fire one of the nicest actresses I’ve worked with because she didn’t suit the role.

  2. Jenny /

Making the choice to step away from my mother, making the realisation that I was never going to be good enough for her, knowing that I was going to be ok with this and then moving overseas and feeling intense freedom and pride that I was, at that time, only answerable to myself, finally living my life in a way that made me satisfied, not to do what I thought I ‘should’.

  3. Stephen Scott /

Telling an immensely talented actress that I couldn’t cast her in the lead role of a play I was directing, even though she was amazing, as she just wasn’t right for the role … and then spending the next few months doing whatever I could to rebolster her confidence. It sounds petty, but for a young person confidence in themselves is paramount and I think I broke my heart more than I broke hers.

  4. Hitesh /

Leaving friend and family behind and move overseas twice.

  5. Esther /

Putting mum in a nursing home

  6. It was hard to decide where to live: Sydney or Brisbane. Now I am happy with my choice 🙂

  7. Jenny /

Who won the tix for tomorrow night?!

    • Nerida Hart /

Winners have been drawn – waiting for their responses/confirmation now. If I don’t hear back, I will draw new winners.
