I would like to see “Scarlet Pimperenel” by Baroness Emmuska Orczy turned into a movie. An eternal love story with a disguised super hero will be a success in any language and in any culture.

Well, I would like to see the adaption of ‘To Kill a Mocking Bird’ by Harper Lee. It is a novel which deals with issues like racial inequality and rape is narrated through the eyes of a ten year old girl. However, though the novel portrays serious issues like race, class, courage and compassion, it is well known for its humor and warmth.

I would like to see the adaption of The Wedding by Danielle Steele it is a romance novel with twists. But this well renowned author really knows how to connect with her audience and I am sure this would one to be remembered.

I would love to see an adaptation of Sydney Sheldon’s Tell me your Dreams- I loved that book. Though there is a Tamil movie which is slightly adapted from it, I would love to see a Bollywood version!!

I would love to see Edward Streeter’s 1949 novel ‘Father of the Bride’
Novel itself has so much class to it, i know theres some hollywood verisons, but I wouldnt mind a bollywood copy of it!

I’d love to see a modern adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s Far From the Madding Crowd. I think it says a lot of interesting things about love and obsession and jealousy that still have resonance today.
